Earlier this evening Clare took her first steps, four of them! She
waited until the day after her first birthday to do this. We were
guessing that she would have taken the first step last week, but of
course she is on her own timetable.
I will get a video up as soon as she allows me to film it.
Hi Everyone,
Made it up to Pennsylvania no problem yesterday, nice and easy flight.
Today we had a party for Clare with members of the family up here to
celebrate her first birthday.
Clare had a very busy day visiting with so many people and eating lots
of food. Clare loves chocolate cake as we found out with her smash
cake. Here are a couple of pictures showing her enjoyment with eat. I
was so afraid she was going to get sick but she did not.
I will post more pictures when we return home but these are from the
Sidekick just so I can share them.
Here is Clare in her Halloween costume. It is a ladybug in case you
could not figure that out.
Here is Clare drinking Daddy's drink at the mall today in Boynton
Beach. Hope she gives it back.
Just leaving the Magic Kingdom and what a day we had. Met with many
characters, did pretty much every ride you could with a 10 month old and
bought a balloon on the way out.
No rain and not very hot today. Also there we really no crowds to
contend with. I do not think we could have squeezed any more out of the
visit there.

Clare is having a great time today(yes, we are too). She has done most
everything in Fantasy Land and has also been on the Haunted Mansion
which is her mom's favorite.
We also went on the recently updated Pirates of the Caribbean which
Clare was clapping her hands and "singing" along in. Here I was worried
that it would be too dark in there for her and she absolutly loved it!

Here is Clare on her favorite attraction, the Disney Bus. This is the
bus that takes you from the resort to the park. All smiles every mile.
Yesterday Clare turned 10 months so in celebration we have taken Clare
up to Disney World. We are currently in Epcot where she has already met
with 7 characters. Pictures are on the digital camera so you will not
be able to see them yet. We will have pictures and more as today goes
on.
Currently Karen is on the new attraction Soarin'. This is our first
baby swap where Karen goes on something followed by myself when she gets
off. Clare is on my lap now just realxing and people watching.
Tonight Clare has her first kid's meal, it was at the new Chili's in
Pompano. She had grilled cheese and mashed potatoes. She liked the
cheese and mom's artichoke dip.
Clare is outside enjoying a pleasant day in Wildwood, NJ. Temperature
is in the upper 70s with a nice easterly breeze. Lots of family around
to entertain as well.
This morning she put a couple of her toys together and is trying to find
a way out of her play area. Amazing!
Here is Clare in her new Superyard XT. In the past week she has been
crawling around instead or rolling around. This means she is starting
to explore (getting into things and corners). To help keep her safe we
found this nice play area for her. This way she can explore and will
not get tangled into cords and other things.
Clare turned seven months on the 9th. She is now starting to pull
herself across the floor, not quite crawling. She is also starting to
eat some real food. Here she is with pizza crust, yum!
